My neighbors always have a turkey fry the weekend before thanksgiving. I always brew an octoberfest for the occasion. I want to bring two brews so I'm looking for suggestions on what style of beer will go with fried turkey

My favorite beer to have with turkey dinner is Smuttynose Robust Porter. Goes perfect. So I'd say try a robust porter.

The porter does sound good with fried turkey. I deep fry turkeys all year long, cheap and easy. For bonus points try deep frying a whole chicken sometime.

No personal experience but I've heard and read several places that biere de garde is good with turkey.

I drank Rogue's Chateau Cherry Dubbel last thanksgiving with my fried turkey and it was incredible. Something with a little sweetness seems to fit the bill
