Add .5 lb of lactose at beginning of boil, .5 lbs at 5 min.
Nottingham was rehydrated.
I just pulled the first two pints of this last night. The lactose is there, but it's certainly not overpowering. It's a bit sweeter than Sam Adams Cream Stout, but also much more full bodied with detectable chocolate and roasted notes. It's almost 9% alcohol, but you certainly can't tell by drinking it.
