I am growing some rihzones at a friends farm.
He is growing hops in the ground and put a chicken wire tube over every rhizome...
They have lots of rabbits there. I am growing in those Home Cheapo buckets
and he says I don't need to wire them as mine are off the ground...
I use chicken wire in my planters at home to keep the cats out of them...
What do you think...? Do I need the chicken wire or not on the farm...?

If you start to see Rabbit "sign" wire em up. Otherwise, don't.

G'damn cats are the worst. I am about to string my 2 up by their tails. There was once a day when I loved having cats. Now a days they are a freakin nuisance pre-programmed to do nothing more than make a mess of the rugs, and the gardens.

I have rabbits that hop into my 2 foot planter all the time. If you have problems with rabbits, having your hops in buckets is not going to help.

What kind of damage are the cats/rabbits doing???? I've got both that hang around and neither have ever even touched my hops.... I don't think they like them.

I had to quit doing gardening around our mobile home park due to cat poop...
Did you know you can catch 150 diseases from cat poop?
The tweaker chick next door feeds her cats but don't use a litter box...
They use any fresh dirt as a cat box...Frikkin' nasty...!

I'm stoked if rabbits don't like hops...because there are hundreds of rabbits...
