Hello!
I'm another new person. You can call me rothschild or some derivation thereof. Recently I got a fever, and the only cure for that fever was brewing something, anything. Unfortunately my money's tight, and the initial investment in brewing supplies can be expensive! So I found a really cheap mead recipe that used a gallon spring water jug and Fleishmann's yeast, but I subbed in a beter yeast, Lalvin EC-118, and then I drove out to an almost-nearby homebrewing store to buy an auto-syphon, a gallon glass jug, a valve and a 3 gallon carboy that's probably not going to be of much use until I get a second one. In the next month I'll probably purchase a manual corker, some corks, some bottles.
I live in Eastern MA with my fiancee. I'm a full-time student, enjoy bicycling and pc gaming.
