What should I expect with using Wyeast 3711 for this Farmhouse session recipe (extract)?

SPECIALTY GRAIN
--0.5 lbs Gambrinus Honey Malt
FERMENTABLES
--3.15 lbs Pilsen malt syrup
--3.15 lbs Pilsen malt syrup late addition (15 min)
HOPS & FLAVORINGS
--1 oz Tradition (60 min)

I made this and it turned out tasting sort of like a Hefe.

Is that what it should be like?

Was on another thread and it popped this one at the bottom as related one.

Looks like you tried it only 2 days after your posted the recipe. I'm guessing it's not tasting like a Hefe anymore if there's any chance some's left. The 3711 should have dried it out more than a hefe yeast strain. It also should have given more of a citrus note than the banana/clove combo of a hefe strain. Care to recap 5 months later now?
