I have some leftover hops sitting in my freezer and a friend, who loves IPAs, wanted to brew with me. I was wondering if I could get some feedback on this recipe.
12# Pale 2-row
1# Crystal 10 L
0.75 # Carapils
0.25 # Torrified wheat
0.25 # Honey malt
1.0 to 2.0 # corn sugar
0.72 oz Northern Brewer (10.3%) 60 min
0.44 oz Crystal (4.1 %) 45 min
0.5 oz Willamette (5.5%) 30 min
1 oz Cascade (7.1%) 30 min
0.5 oz Nugget (15.3%) 15 min
1 oz Cascade (7.1%) 15 min
(all pellet)
I was also considering dry hopping 0.5-1.0 oz of Cascade
My efficiency hits around 65%, unfortunately.
Would using MO instead of 2-row be much different?
