Too much Cardamom...

I just tasted the final gravity sample of a Belgian wheat ale I made as a holiday Beer. Apparently 1 tsp of cardamom is too much for a 4 gal batch. It came through too strong. The beer looks great, fermented well but is almost undrinkable. I might re-brewing my Christmas beer this year.

I used
1 tsp cardamom
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon orange peel
1 cinnamon stick all at about 10 min in the boil

I'm pretty sure it is the cardamom.
