I got my hands on a keg, so i want to build myself a keggle, but have a few questions.

1. does anyone know a site based in canada where i can buy the parts i need?

2. what is a sight glass used for, and do i really need it?

3. Is it really stealing?

:D

A sight glass is just to show the volume of the liquid in the keggle.

No idea about number 1.

#2. for your hot liquor tank, so that you can see how much water you have in your keggle

Not just for the HLT. I have one on my boil kettle so that I can sanity check that my pre-boil volume is correct.

Sight glasses are not a necessity, but I really REALLY love having one. I just measure water out directly in the kettle rather than having to measure it in some other container first and then lift and dump it.
