My first venture into my own reciepe. Its my third brew. The first two were kits. TrueBrew NutBrown and then True Brew Oktoberfest. The nutbrown was great and the Oktoberfest is conditioning in Bottle right now. My recipe is in the primary now and it took off like wild fire in the carboy...Pitched at 68 degrees and took off in 7 hours!

Ok here it goes:

Bishop's Turbo Ale

5 gallons:

3.3 Lbs Muntons Light LME
2 lbs Crosby& Baker Amber DME
1/2 cup Turbinado sugar
1oz Willamette 5.8% @ 60 mins
1 oz UK Kent Golding 4.5% @ 15 mins

1 pack Notty

O.G. was 1.043

What do you think I have on my hands here?
I was going for an easy first recipe.

Had you used 1/2-2/3 of the EKG for more bittering than you would have had a bitter.

ok just took a gravity sample and this stuff tastes great...1.010 for last 3 days.
Racked to secondary and I am psyched to bottle this in a week.
