I have a IC made with 50 foot of copper that I made by coiling around corny. My issues is now that I have a keggle with dip tube the IC does sit flat in the bottom of my keggle. Not a issue when I do a 10 gallon batch. But when I do a 5 gal batch lose some chilling due to IC not sitting down at the bottom.

Have any of you experienced this and how did you handle it. Or am I just nitpicking.

Ok maybe I am using the wrong term. I have copper tube with bazooka on the the end inside my keggle.

nitpicking. Don't worry. I doubt you are losing any cooling at all. Why wouldn't a chiller only half immersed in hot liquid not work 2x as better? At best, it's just the same.
