Man... Can't get into mmb much. If he wouldn't sing, I'd be cool.

I was more into the ska punk **** in those days, Link 80, LTJ, Against All Authority, Suicide Machines, etc.

Now I'm going to go listen to this.

I still prefer the first wave, reggae, and rocksteady.

Because I mentioned it, some very young Bob Marley on vocals (I've seen some say it isn't Bob, but it sounds like it to me, but it's the Wailers either way)

Tool is sooooo badass. Between this and Black Sabbath my ears are pleasantly bleeding. This is a great thread. I was raised a Jehovah's Witness back in the day and I really missed out on a lot of amazing music. I am constantly surprised by new artists all the time. You guys have great taste!!

Do yourself a favor and just listen to everything Maynard James Keenan has ever done.

Respect him/them as artists, never liked the music. But I did watch the documentary on his Arizona vineyard. Is that still a thing? It was....interesting if nothing else. Nothing spectacular though.

I've been listening to these folks a lot lately, for the first time in a good number of years. Forgot how good they were.

Yeah, he's still making a bunch of wine and hanging out in the desert while millions await his next album.

It's a hard knock life, I'm sure.

Haven't yet, no. Have you tried dis doe?

Thanks for posting all that. Man, such a talented guy. I remember Tool coming out with that first video while I was in college and just being captured by their sound. Not sure why I didn't keep up with him/them. It was harder back then to keep up with music without the internet.

This is from one of my "neck of the woods". This guy is the real deal and a great live show. No bull****, lived it, wrote it, sings it.
