HB1329 is a bill which is currently with the Florida Business and Professional Regulation Subcommittee. Under the guise of legalizing 64 oz growler sizes the bill severely regulates small breweries in the state. The bill is being sponsored by Rep. Ray Wesley Rodriguez who has taken donations from the Florida Beer Wholesalers association, Pepin, Gold Coast Distributors, and other large distributors in the state who want to hurt craft breweries.
So, what can you do? Sign this petition. Call and email your state house representative for your district and voice your opposition to the bill. Call and email the reps on the Business & Professional Regulation Subcommittee and voice your opposition.
If you are from out of state, email or call and let these people know this hurts the state's tourism industry and makes you less likely to visit Florida.
