Started my 5th.extract kit (America Lager) and I attempted to pour the specialty grains in the bag and I missed. They went directly into the brew pot. Will this affect my final product? I plan to filter them out. Will this work or should I wait, dump it and get new grains tomorrow and start fresh?

let me be the first to say RDWHAHB

as I understand you might have some tannin flavors, but nothing to dump it over

As long as you filter them out before your water temp gets above 170 deg. F., you'll be fine. Even then, if it's only a small amount that missed the bag and as long as you get them out before the boil, then you can relax-- it'll turn out fine.
