Hello, I now realize that on my first batch of amber beer I pitched the yeast wrong. I added it straight to the boiling wort! Therefore killing the yeast, yes?
My question is, after unfermented beer sat in carboy for 30 hours, I then added new/fresh yeast and pitched it correctly on top, is this bad? Can I expect a spoiled batch or overwhelming yeasts.?
