Reno Homebrewer Well-Known Member Joined Dec 28, 2007 Messages 183 Reaction score 0 Location Reno, NV Apr 15, 2008 #4 Below 60 would put most Ale Yeast to sleep. If you use a liquid Yeast, like White Labs Pitchable tubes, it will tell you on the tube what the best ferm temp is for that strain.

OP OP blowmax10 Well-Known Member Joined Mar 2, 2008 Messages 364 Reaction score 1 Apr 15, 2008 #5 thanks - the reason that i ask is we a a couple of cold days here and i was worried but the temp never dropped below 60 in the house so i hope my brew just needs a little time both my batches we either in bottles at the time or in the secondary almost ready for bottles
