Can anyone recommend a beer style that ferments at a fairly high temperature? It's been three "hot" weekends in a row (77-78F) in San Diego, and I don't have an AC. I've never been too happy with the results achieved with ice water or evaporative cooling so if anyone has had a positive experience fermenting above 75 I'd like to hear about it.

Cheers,
Doug

I believe Sasions like warm temps.

I tried the ice bucket for the first time this fall, worked like a charm. Despite upper 70's to low 80's air temp the water and wort stayed fairly constant in the mid to upper 60's.

Hefeweizens fare pretty well at higher ferm temps too. I've done all of mine at room temp (76-78F) and they are consistently very good.
