Tasting Notes
Hops are very prevalent. Hints of orange.
I brewed this with Apollo & Amarillo, hops. I had never brewed with Apollo before. The Apollo hops can be used for bittering as well as flavor and aroma. I wanted a light colored IPA. This is what I came up with. I took this to an event and everyone raved about it. Even people that said they don't drink beer were drinking this. I used the hop bursting technique and also dry hopped. The hops were put in at 20, 10, and 0 minutes. I will definately brew this again.

Hello,

This recipe looks great. New to the whole thing and will try to brew it. But what I can't really understand is the amount of table sugar? What is it for and when do you put it in?
I bet it can't be for priming right..? =S

/ pilengrim

The sugar is used to dry it out a little. I don't like it too cloying. I put it in at 5 minutes left.
