I've been perusing these forums and haven't really found a definitive answer. I'm looking to make my first mead, some sort of sparkling melomel. Now to carbonate do I prime with corn sugar at bottling like with beer?

Yes, you can prime with any fermentable sugar, including honey. Just be sure you get the proper amounts as they vary a bit from type to type. Regards, GF.

Ok good, I saw someone mentioning that they bottle before fermentation is over to get like a continuous bottle fermentation sort of deal and I think that's a little too precise and risky for my tastes/experience level.
