so i am currently building a mash tun out of a 70 qt coleman xtreme and i'm curious as to the pros/cons of cpvc vs copper for my manifold.

also for good measure... banana time :ban:
 
I think cpvc is easier to put together. I dont know of any actual efficiency or sparging differences, just what you would prefer to build
 
I meant more as far as if the cpvc would be likely to warp or get damaged from the heat

The CPVC will handle mash temperatures no problem. Either copper or cpvc will work just fine.
 
+1 for the CPVC it is cheaper than copper and then when you get a design you like you can spend the money to make a prettier copper one. I think that is about the only difference, copper is sexier.
