I brewed a marzen on friday night. I think I put a little too much water in. The next morning it was foaming so vigorously out the fermentation lock I thought it would blow or overflow, so I siphoned out about an inch. It still fermented intensely the rest of saturday but by sunday it had slowed down greatly. By monday it had stopped completely. By this I mean no CO2 was escaping from the air lock so I figure fermentation has stopped. I have brewed a few times before and as far as I know this is a bad situation. Does anybody have any suggestions? I really don't want to lose this batch. Thanks.
