This was an attempt to brew the average of Terrapin Brewing Co.'s Rye Pale Ale and their Rye Squared Strong Ale ("Mean Turtle" -- get it? get it?). In my opinion, it turned out great. Deliciously bready with a decent hop kick. If brewed again, I would mash a little lower for better attenutation.
AG- just sub more base malt for the 3lbs DME.
