i'm curious if the cooler conversions can accommodate a .5" cooler wall, with male npt on at least the outside, and all stainless. price?

Yes. My standard cooler conversion kit will fit a .5" thick cooler wall. I also have other sizes that will fit even thicker cooler walls.
Prices start at $13.00 for just the bulkhead and up to $27.00 with a stainless valve and stainless 1/2" hose barb.
