I have been making some small batches with small starter batches, probably too small....500ml for 3 gal. Now making 10 gal batch but i only have a small erlenmeyer flask at the present. Can I make like four starters and as each is stirred well on my stir plate for awhile, then simply combine them in a larger vessel to be use 24 hours later? I think i need to make a 2000ml starter at least.....

Yes, or you can just make a starter in a larger container to begin with. You don't need to use a flask.
