I think I'm doing this right but I would like run my numbers by to make sure
Recipe calls for the following:
0.50 oz Hallertauer [3.00%] (60 min)
0.50 oz Hallertauer [4.10%] (20 min)
0.50 oz Cascade [5.50%] (10 min)
Midwest Suppliers sells:
Hallertau 4.6%
(No Cascade so I'll go to LHBS for that)
So my readjustments came to:
.32 oz Hallertau [4.6%] (60 min)
.45 oz Hallertau [4.6%] (20 min)
0.50 oz Cascade [5.50%] (10 min)
A question I have - could I achieve the same effect by altering the time instead of hop amounts? I will have to buy a scale to get hops the precisely measured but if I could just alter the time and still use .5 oz that would be eaiser.
