I've had a problem reusing Lagunitas 22's and shearing off the top. I think certain bottles are thinner in the neck. Did it make a crunch sound before it popped (I've noticed this too).
But notice that all of the beer still seems to be in the bottle. To this I say......well done:cross:

Yea, I've been here many times. This is why I'll usually bring out 10% more bottles to get sanitized on bottling day. I've lost as many as two during one 50x bottle session. Oh well. Just one more that I'll have to drink and delabel someday I guess 
I capped 1000 bottles last year. Not one broken. 12's, 16's, and 22's.
Now I have broken them opening them... with odd objects one might find around the garage, etc.
