I was wondering if anyone has tried the pumpkin ale recipe from Midwest supplies. I really want to make a pumpkin ale as my first brew, but im looking for more of a pumpkin pie in a bottle. I wish i could try Yuri's recipe but since its my first brew im not sure if i could do it from just the recipe without good instructions.

to give you an idea of the recipe i pulled this off their site:

Recipe includes:
6 lbs. Gold liquid malt extract
8 oz. Carapils
8 oz. Caramel 10°L
1 oz. Mt. Hood
1 oz. Cascade
1 cup brown sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
yeast (6 gm Munton's dry yeast/American Ale Wyeast 1056/American Ale Activator Wyeast 1056)
priming sugar
