I noticed a few clumps of undissolved DME went from my kettle and into my carboy. The consistency was like hard candy so I'm wondering if it'll just join the trub at the bottom or if the yeast will break it down over the next few weeks?

I had a brew where I forgot the DME until it was almost done chilling. I threw it in and it was chunk-a-palooza. Three weeks later when I transferred to the keg, nothing but beautiful brew.

That makes me feel better. I never had this problem before I started doing late additions of my DME. Used to put it all in at the beginning.
