I wonder, though. . . just how red/amber could we get a brew? Add some red food coloring?

Obviously we couldn't put it in a plastic bag, but, just for kicks and grins, we could put it in old fashioned glass IV bottle (like http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140478238628&hlp=false)

Well you could make e.g. a blood orange mead and put it in a plastic bag like that....

That's right. Magic hat wacko is made with beet juice. Smells like moss but I like the taste.
