I was thinking about steeping 1 oz of hops in about two cups of water that just came off of the boil for a few minutes, then straining and pressing the solution though a screen and dissolving my priming sugar in this solution to prime my beer for bottling.

Do you think this would add a nice fresh hop aroma to the beer? I don't see how it couldnt.

research dry hopping. its the best way to get hop aroma and flavor into a beer.

This is an IPA that I use first wort hopping, numerous late hop additions and 2.5 oz of dry hopping for the 6 gallon batch. I was just trying think outside of the box a little.
