This beer is fantastic. I was in North Carolina a few weeks ago to visit a friend and I decided to pick up some local beer. I bought a bomber of each of the French Broad beers. It's around 90 degrees here today so I was in the mood for something light and refreshing, and this beer hit the spot. It has a very light scent of bread, but the smell is very faint. It poured with a large fluffy marshmallow like head, like a big puffy white cloud. It was slightly cloudy and straw colored. I must say the taste is light with a smooth only slightly noticable bitterness that balances it out nicely. It has a dry finish with very light pale maltiness. This may be my perfect lawnmower beer. It is nice to have a beer that actually quenches my thirst on a hot day. I recommend this to anyone, especially on a hot day.
