Please give your opinion of this Malt. I usually prefer Rahr Pale Ale Malt, but I thought I would try a sack of ESB.
thanks

I wish I could. I bought and split a sack of it with a couple of other guys and I brewed (duh) and ESB with it a month or so ago.

I tapped that keg a few days ago and was disappointed to find that something went wrong during fermentation and I have some weird off flavors in it.

Gambrinus ESB is excellent malt. I actually prefer it to Fawcett Maris (I find the flavor is pretty darned comparable and the efficiency far far better and more reliable). It's become my go-to malt for English styles.
