I am wanting to pull a sample from the bucket today using a turkey baster to see if I am about ready to keg. I have a 3 piece airlock with sanitizer in it and its in a bucket. What do I need to do as far as removing the airlock and then what do i need to resanitize? It's my first time and don't want to hose it up. :mug:

1. Sanitize sampling equipment.
2. Remove airlock.
3. Take sample.
4. Sanitize airlock bung.
5. Replace airlock.

I usually just remove the airlock, but my bucket lid has a hole big enough for the turkey baster. Removing the lid gives you a chance to look at the magic.

I think I am ready to keg. Both batches I checked are at expected FG number. They also both taste good. I think I am in business
