Oak Barrels

Who makes and where does one find the best (or at least really good) oak barrels for aging?? Cost is not really the issue, quality is though. Cheers!!!!!

I have had success in contacting local microbreweries and talking to the head brewer. They should be able to help focus your search. Barrels are something I would try to buy somewhat local, yet that is personal preference.

Mile high distilling has oak barrels from small 1 ltr to larger 1 gal.

I got my 8 gallon bourbon barrel from http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/TuthilltownSpirits/-strse-Barrels/Categories.bok which i am very happy with. They had fast shipping and great customer service.

They seem to only have 3 gallons currently but you could email them and see what they have coming up.
