This weekend I will be brewing my first Irish Red Ale. The extract kit suggests using WLP004 or 1084 which are both Irish Ale yeasts. Though I've been doing some reading and have seen others recommending 1272, 1335, Safale US-05, and Danstar Nottingham Ale. What are your experiences with these yeast varieties in an Irish Red Ale. FWIW, my fermentation temperatures will be between 65-70.
