Not sure if this is the correct section for this, but here goes!
Ever since I started brewing (been about 3 months now), my SWMBO (girlfriends of ~20 months) has complained and complained and complained about the time I spend on brewing, reading up on brewing, listening to podcasts, and the like. It's not so much that she has a problem with me doing something that I love (she's extremely supportive in that respect), more that she doesn't have something comparable, no hobby that cosumes her, and generally nothing to do while I'm taking time brewing. She wants to pick up a hobby, and neither of us have any idea what she should do.
So, HBT, what do your SWMBOs do in their spare time? Helping me with brewing is out of the question (although she loves beer, she hates the smell of grains, wort, hops, and just about every othe part of the process). She's into wine (but not interested in making it), painting (but is "too time cosuming and labor intensive," so she doesn't do it that often), and cooking (though I'm better so she always makes me do it).
Any other thoughts? Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
