Hey everyone, I brewed up an ESB around christmas time, and I'm just about out of it now (saving one bottle for a school competition).

I think it came out pretty tasty! Here's the recipe, and a picture below showing the nice clarity from the WY1469. Next time I think i'll use light extracts and up the crystal and biscuit malts. PLEASE CRITIQUE!! I want to make this ESB as delicious as possible for next time, since this is one of my favorite styles.

Original Gravity: 1.050 SG
Final Gravity: 1.010 SG
ABV: 5.2 %
Bitterness: 33.7 IBU
Color: 10.0 SRM

3.00 lb Amber Dry Extract (8.0 SRM)
3.15 lb Amber Liquid Extract (9.0 SRM)

0.50 lb Biscuit Malt (23.0 SRM)
0.50 lb Cara-Pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM)
0.25 lb Simpson's Medium Crystal (60.0 SRM)

1.00 oz Northern Brewer [9.40%] (60 min) Hops 26.7 IBU
1.00 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00%] (15 min) Hops 7.0 IBU
1.00 oz Styrian Goldings [5.40%] (0 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep)

1 Pkgs PC West Yorkshire Ale (Wyeast Labs #1469) Yeast-Ale

edit: sorry for the somewhat dark picture, I took it at night and the beer is actually a bit lighter than this
