Kettle strong enough for heating element?

I don't see why it wouldn't be. Blichmann's can support an element, and they're fairly thinwalled. As far as the element, I have a 4500W element in my kettle, and it's plenty fine for 7gallons boiling.
 
I have that exact pot, it has 1mm stainless walls and supports heating elements just fine ( I have 2 1500 watters in mine) boils 5 gallons in 40 minutes

stainless is alot stronger than people give it credit. punching a hole in it is the tough part.
