Brewed a few beers and meads over the last 10 years but never a cider.
Today I kegged an IPA (CDA), then poured 5 gallons of apple juice onto the Nottingham yeast cake, with 1 lb of honey for the sugar.
update: very active fermentation this morning, blowing enough co2 thru the airlock it is hissing. At first I thot the keg was leaking but it is just the cider.
I left the little bit of Simcoe hops in the carboy, this stuff might taste interesting.
