I went to the lhb store last week and asked for an ipa kit. I like the harpoon ipa and they said they had just the thing. I made up a kit for me and this is what i got.

OG 1.045 - 1.050
FG 1.008 - 1.012

1/2 lb. Crystal malt
1/4 lb Toasted malt
3.3 lbs of LME Light
3 lbs DME Briess golden light

With hop additions at

start of boil 1 0z of Challenger hops
45 min in irish moss
55 min in 2oz cascade hops

and i'll be using the california liquid yeast

What do you guys think?

directions say to put grains into muslin bag and put into water in boil pot and remove bag once temp reaches 168 degrees.

let us know how it comes out! I just ordered the partial mash harpoon clone from AHS. Harpoon is one of my favorites. Good luck with it.
