Using Dishwasher pumps for Rig

I was wondering if anyone had tried to use a dishwasher pump to move their liquid? I saw it on someones website but didn't know if they would work at all. If you have some cheap part numbers that would also be super helpful.
 
Not an answer to your question but, I have seen dishwasher pump motors used for grain mills.

IIRC, my sanitizing Fridgidaire DW hits a hot water temp of 180*F with the heat booster on. Now, 32*F may not seem much but it can be a world of difference for a gasket.

Bottom line, I'd verify that the pump housing and seals are rated for 212*F befoe I'd even consider this.
