AHS Classic Series DME Kits

After 8 extract kits I have 2 partial Mash kits I just ordered but saw the AHS Classic Kits which are DME and thought I would like to have these on hand in case weekend plans change and I have a few hrs to brew something (nearest LHBS is 50 miles). Since they are DME and dry yeast I thought they would store well for a few months so that they are available if needed. anyone try these and what were the results?

Also their session series are DME and have an option for dry yeast any thoughts or experience?
