Whats up everyone. A friend of mine just got done fabricating a 3 tier gravity brewing stand with 3 burners and a control panel. I brewed up 10 gallons of hefe and 5 gallons of stout with no problems. How do I post pics on this site cause I really want everyone to check it out?:mug: :ban: He is going to start selling these things and he wants to get the word out.

here are some pics of the stand. It has 3 burners and custom made rings that perfectly hole keggles (converted kegs). It is on castors (2 of which are locking) and there is a ring that fits the propane tank. His production ones will be a little smaller in height and will fold down for easy transport. Let me know what you guys/gals think.

Looks really nicely built. A folding stand sounds dangerous, though, considering the weight it has to hold.

I've never used a brew stand, so I may just be ignorant. I assume the HLT goes highest up, the mash tun in the middle, and the boil kettle at the lowest level. Considering the low height of the brew kettle, I don't see how you could use gravity to drain from the kettle into carboys. You'd have to pump the wort out, right? That complicates the process, IMO.

The height of the brew pot is perfect. You just put your carboy on the ground level and then connect a hose to your output. As long as the end of the hose is lower then the bottom of your pot, the siphon will drain it all out. I will post some more pics soon.

I'm not sure what his price is going to be. He wants to produce a high quality stand that is priced very reasonably. I will post his contact info soon.
