I pulled my APA from the fridge yesterday so I could kill my Hefeweizen.
Dropped one of my cobra taps on it and pulled a Pint.
Damn... the maltiness just busts out while the hops just linger... this is damn tasty. The nose is awesome.

I never really messed with serving temps before--- although I like milds and stouts a bit on the warm side.

something for me to ponder.

So you liked the warmer beer you're saying? It's not surprising, warm beer lets you taste more of the flavour. Works the same for soda too, try a very slightly chiled DR. Pepper.

best stout I ever had was in a dive bar in Ballard.
Guinness, right off the truck, room temperature.

I was thinking that an APA served like a cask ale would be good... turns out it is very good. :rockin:

Had my keg system for years before I even had a fridge to put it in.
so my serving temps were always basement temperature. 50 or so in the winter, and about 70 in the summer. And life was good.
Actually might be going back to that again as I think my second fridge will be taking the dirt nap pretty soon.
