I had a great weekend- I have a friend who has 3000 acres, and we love going over there in the fall for some great wine, food, beer and a little hunting. This is Friday's haul:

We saw quite a few birds, and the weather was great (except it was in the 20s at night). We had a great time!
 
Haven't seen many game birds, other than a few quail, this year. From what I've been reading in the local papers, the turkeys have all moved into the towns. This drives everyone crazy. The townies complain about the damage to their gardens and the hunters whine about not being allowed to hunt inside city limits. Most of the towns end up hiring professionals to shot the birds.
