I picked up random equipment from my brother in law last weekend. Finally getting around to cleaning and doing an inventory to get ready for my first brew this weekend!

I think I'm going to start extract to ease myself in to it. I have a bunch of fresh basil so I'm thinking of getting a honey ale kit, and shooting for a taste of Bison's Honey Basil Ale.

That's awesome. Easing in with extract is a fantastic choice.

Thats awesome congrats and welcome to your new obsession. :D

Get some extract brews under your belt before you try doing all grain or partial mash. It will all make sense eventually. That's my advice anyway.

I've done all extracts so far and am in the process of building a mash tun so I can make the switch
