I tried the breworganic.com IPA and didn't think it was hoppy enough. It really tasted more like an english strong ale with the fruity/sweetness (which may be partially attributed to my high ferment temperature).

Could anyone suggest hops to add (either type,or more and how much more of the current hops) to the current ingredient kit? Or even suggest an entirely different kit or ingredients from breworganic.com (have some credit there).

This is the ingredients of their IPA

8.5 # organic pale barley M.E.

1/2# briess caramel 60 oL

1/2# briess caramel 20 oL

1/2 oz New Zealand pacific gem pellets (bittering) 27 IBU
3/4 oz New Zealand pacific gem pellets (flavor) 25 IBU
1/2 oz New Zealand hallertaur pellets (aroma)
1/2t irish moss

Wyeast #1968

8oz DME

If you are going with an American IPA, I'd go with Cascade (only because they are my favorite) for flavor, aroma and dry hopping, and choose an American ale yeast... like US-05.

Sounds good.

Assuming this is a 5 gallon batch I would at least double the amount of hops in each addition, maybe tripple. Some people put 16oz of hops in their IPAs, the most I typically use is 8oz.
