Belgium Comes to Cooperstown 2011- Bringing it to 11 in 11
Belgium Comes to Cooperstown will be held on July 29th and 30th, 2011 at Brewery Ommegang. This event includes music, a movie, great food and amazing beer.
Friday, July 29th
VIP dinner 6pm-10pm
This year, we are mixing things up for our Friday night VIP Dinner. There will still be fantastic food paired with the best Belgian and Belgian Style beers in the world. As always, music and dancing will help to kick off this amazing event. This is sure to be the best VIP Dinner yet! Get your tickets right at noon on April 1st. They sold out in less than a minute in 2010!
VIP tickets include a seat at Fridays beer dinner, a movie on Friday night, free camping, a complimentary VIP Breakfast Saturday morning, a special 750mL of fine Belgian beer, and admission to the Saturday tasting and activities. VIP ticket-holders will be admitted to the beer tasting at 2:30 pm (half an hour earlier than general admission ticket-holders).
Saturday July 30th
Tasting Hours: 3pm to 7pm
Sample the best Belgian and Belgian Style ales in the world. 3oz tastings of heavenly Belgian ale set to the background of an old hops farm, on the Ommegang property. Tour the world of Belgian beer and then tour the first farmstead brewery built in New York in over 100 years.
After Party 8pm-12pm
Open to all Tasting-ticket holders, goes until midnight featuring local food, rocking music, a bonfire and even a late night movie! Stay up late and talk about your new favorite beers, or start an impromptu dance party (its happened before).
Sunday, July 31st
On Sunday, we bid a fond farewell to BCTC. The Ommegang gift shop will be open from 11am-6pm for any Ommegang beer, apparel, Belgian chocolate, and glassware needs.
