Thinking of doing a split batch with kolsch (wyeast2565) and pilsner (wyeast2114) kinda looking for a good balanced slightly towards the malt side
but also light and crisp for those dog days of summer, easy drinker
was thinkin about something like this

11 gallon batch
1.043 og
4.3% ABV.

12lb Pils
2lb White wheat malt
2lb flaked corn
1lb Munich

hops
1oz Saaz @60
2 Saaz @30
2 Saaz @15

Hop numbers not exact will target for around 25 IBU's probably using a noble or a varietal of some sort, or maybe even some Cascade in there somewhere?

Mash 153-155F
Pils ferment @ 50F
Kolsch ferment @ 55-60F

Any suggestions or input of any sort is welcome
Tell me what you think

Peace,
Bells

Since you are looking for balanced to slightly malty(sweet), and with an O.G. of 1.043, I would not go over 20 IBU. With your grain bill, I would stick with Saaz only. Nice choices on the yeasts. :mug:
