I'm trying to learn about beer Smith software and I was looking if there is a place where I can log in all my ingredients so that when I brew the amounts are automatically updated accordingly. This will help me to keep track better of my ingredients (their date of packaging and volumes, and a comment box as well for ex)? Any software that let's you do that?

Beersmith does that. It is in the "inventory" area, and when you make a recipe you just click "remove from inventory" to update the amount of ingredients.
