Soda and Seltzer are supposed to be upwards of 30 PSI and beer isn't, it might be overcarb'd. Unless you''re saying to put already carb'd beer in it and not charge it with a cartridge. In that case, you probably won't get it all out of there on it's own pressure, especially the fuller you fill it.
